Can I scan to email?
YES - our scanners come with easy-to-use software which can scan to email.
Do I need a photo scanner or document scanner?
It depends on what you are scanning. If you only want to scan a few images or photos, or have books, magazines, or other thick media to scan, then a flatbed photo scanner is ideal - like our V39II. If you want to scan photos and paper documents, such as invoices, then the FF-680W would be perfect. If you only want to scan documents, then any of our "ES" scanners would be the best choice.
What is an ADF?
ADF stands for Automatic Document Feeder and is used on document scanners which will be scanning multiple pages in one go. If you have limited space for a scanner and would normally scan up to 100 pages at a time, then the ES-C320W or ES-C380W would be a great choice. If you are scanning lots of pages at the same time on a regular basis, then a larger ADF would be better, such as in the ES-550W or ES-590W.
I don't have much space and often work in different places
We have two ultra-portable scanners in the "ES" range which are designed for you. They are both small enough to fit in a laptop bag or drawer and are designed to be used when out and about. Take a look at the ES-50 (USB only) and ES-60W (USB, Wi-Fi and battery built-in)
