Windows redetects the printer each time it starts
This article refers to the issue where the Found New Hardware Wizard attempts to redect your previously installed printer when your Windows computer is started or restarted. This has been recognised as a known Microsoft issue.
This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
The printer driver does not use Plug and Play for its installation.
A registry key has become damaged.
