I'm experiencing problems using my Epson USB device in Microsoft Windows. How do I disable USB error detection?

Disabling USB error detection

  1. Open Device Manager - see How to access Device Manager if you require assistance.

  2. Locate Universal Serial Bus Controllers in the list of device types.

  3. Click on the [+] beside Universal Serial Bus Controllers and this will show the related devices.

  4. Right-click on a Universal Serial Bus Host Controller then left-click on Properties.

  5. A new window will open. Click on the Advanced tab.

  6. Click into the box for 'Don't tell me about USB errors' so a tick is beside it.

  7. Click OK to save the setting and close Device Manager.
