The LA SCARA series robots have been optimised for simple small and mid-sized pick & place applications. They are easy to install, use and maintain, making it a great, affordable entry-level automation solution. The series follows the Epson SCARA scalability philosophy, with no superfluous functionality.

Affordable SCARA robot

This Epson SCARA robot has been designed to offer a great balance of value and performance. The battery equipped motor has an easy to replace design, helping to simplify maintenance and reduce the overall total cost of ownership (TCO). Businesses will also benefit from Epson's 'no superfluous technology' philosophy and the robot's low power consumption.

Compact versatility

With its small footprint and lightweight design, the SCARA LA series is a great automation solution for environments where space is at a premium. It features low cycle times and TÜV 3rd party certification. Its RC800L controller supports all common fieldbus I/O and the Teach Pendant 2, as well as basic safety functions. This SCARA is available as standard and clean-room version.

Entry-level automation

The Epson SCARA LA series robots are simple to install, use and maintain. They feature a streamlined and robust design, with an easy to replace battery for simple maintenance. The upper arm area includes a brake release button and mounting points for customer equipment.
