Description
When using an Epson application with a network-connected product on macOS Sequoia, the app may fail to detect the product — meaning it can't be added or used. This happens if Local Network access wasn't granted when the app first requested it via a permission pop-up.
Solution
Solution 1: Grant Local Network Access Directly
- Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network.
- Find the affected app in the list (e.g. "Epson Installer") and turn its toggle On.
Solution 2: Reinstall and Grant Permission at Setup
- Uninstall the affected app.
- Reboot your Mac.
- Reinstall the app, and click Allow when the local network permission pop-up appears.
