As the printer is shipped with the tractor unit in the rear position, it is already set in the correct position.
Follow the instructions below to load continuous paper using the tractor.
Set the paper release lever to the rear push tractor position.
Set the paper thickness lever (located under the printer cover) to the correct position for the paper.
Remove the rear paper guide by lifting it up and off the printer, as shown below.
Press down on both tabs on each side of the tractor unit to ensure it is correctly inserted into the frame.
Release the left and right sprockets by pulling the blue sprocket lock levers forward.
Slide the left sprocket approximately 12mm *(0.5 inch) from the far left position and push the blue lever backward to lock it into place. Then slide the right sprocket to match the width of your paper, but ensure that you do not lock it.
Make sure your paper has a clean, straight edge. Open both sprocket covers and with the printable side up, fit the first four holes of the paper just over the tractor pins.
Close the sprocket covers.
Slide the right sprocket to remove any slack in the paper, then lock it in place by pushing the sprocket lock down.
Make sure the paper guide is lying flat on the printer.
Slide the edge guides to the middle of the paper guide.
Ensure that all covers are closed.
Power on the printer.
When the printer receives data, the printer will start the print job immediately on to the paper.
Positioning the continuous paper supply
Before using continuous paper, make sure that you line up your paper supply with the tractor feeder as shown below, this is so that the paper will feed into the printer smoothly.
