Epson is proud to support Manchester United as an Official Global Partner. Our winning partnership is built on the shared goals of commitment, performance and advancement.

We stand united to achieve greatness

As Manchester United’s Official Office Equipment Partner, Epson has supported the club through advanced technology since 2010.

It’s an ongoing relationship that evolves with every new challenge and season – as we provide continued innovation to one of the world’s greatest football clubs.

Although the two brands lead entirely different fields, our partnership is driven by a shared vision to improve and succeed. We have a desire to excite and inspire both fans and customers, by adding real value to their lives.

“Manchester United is very proud of its partnership with Epson.”

Richard Arnold, Group Managing Director at Manchester United

Product Integration

Epson's office and front-of-house printing and imaging products are used in many locations at Manchester United, including its home stadium, museum and training facilities. They assist the club in driving performance and innovation.

Keeping world-class players at the top of their game

A typical first team player will spend hundreds of hours at the club’s state-of-the-art Aon Training Complex. Epson projectors transform the space into an interactive evaluation experience.

From weight lifting to sprinting, the activities of up to 60 players' activities can be monitored, logged and assessed simultaneously and in real time, so athletes can develop their techniques.

A new way to tell the greatest story ever told

Founded in 1878, Manchester United has a rich and unique history that over 330,000 people experience annually during a visit to the club’s museum. At its heart is a key attraction – using Epson’s advanced 3LCD projector technology, a timeline of all the club’s past managers is projected onto the floor with animated and interactive elements.

Epson’s interactive projectors feature 3LCD technology, ensuring high-quality images even in daylight.

“The great advantage of Epson’s technology is that it’s very interactive and immediate, so we can make really smart, quick decisions on how we manage the squad and our players.”

Bringing convenience to executive entertainment

From hospitality boxes to conference facilities, hundreds of global companies rely on the stadium to inspire and motivate guests. With Epson’s WorkForce Pro portable printers to hand, event organisers can print off customised itineraries, menus and more, on the spot, to ensure every room is set up for a customer’s specific needs.

The excitement of match day begins with each hospitality guest being handed a print-out of the manager’s team selection. Not an easy task, given that 3,500 copies have to be produced and distributed just before kick-off. The team relies on Epson WorkForce Pro printers to achieve this.

Epson's WorkForce Pro printers use up to 96% less energy than competitive colour lasers.

Creating the opportunity every fan dreams of

When visiting Manchester United, fans are given the chance to have their photo taken with The Treble – the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League Trophy and Premier League Trophy. This is captured against a green screen, with a backdrop of the stadium added in afterwards.

With around 50,000 souvenir photos produced each year, Manchester United needed a printer that would produce high-quality pictures at speed. Epson’s SureLab D700 professional photo printer brings out all of the colourful details, including those all-important reds.

Moverio Smart Eyewear

Obtaining quality film footage of training sessions is essential for the Manchester United coaches – it allows them to closely analyse player performance. Using drones, the coaches can capture play from a bird’s eye view, and combining this with Epson’s Moverio smart glasses means training can be analysed using augmented reality.

The Moverio BT-300 features Epson's cutting edge silicon-based OLED (organic light emitting diode) digital display technology. It's the best way to capture photos and video using a drone.
