Lewiatan chose Epson L550 and L800

The Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan is composed of regional and industrial unions, with over 3,900 companies employing a total of more than 750,000 people. It is a member of the Tripartite Commission for Socio-economic Issues in Poland, and belongs to the BUSINESSEUROPE organisation.

At the beginning of 2014, Lewiatan conducted a test purchase of 15 ITS printers, L550 and L800, which were first used mainly for the Company's statutory purposes, but it soon became clear that EPSON printers have many more advanced applications.

"Thanks to their high quality combined with extremely low printing costs, the materials prepared for our local meetings have taken on a new dimension. They are no longer boring Xerox copies, but rather complete and valuable messages filled with colours, which make it easy to focus on the key elements," says Jakub Gonek of the Lewiatan Confederation.

Thanks to their low printing costs, laser printers, which were the main type of printers until now, are becoming obsolete. Sceptical first-time users quickly realised that they needn't have doubted a thing, and the state-of-the-art Ink Tank System printer guarantees beautiful, colourful prints at extremely low costs. Lewiatan representatives also praised the fact that the ink on the documents does not smudge, even right after printing.

The L550 multifunctional devices were integrated into the Confederation's network infrastructure. All employees have access to shared printers. The iPrint application is highly popular – it means that users no longer have to rush to the computer to print an email they just received, for example.

"Epson's mobile solutions have improved our workflow – here at the Confederation, we receive documents on a daily basis and need to print them out immediately. We are often on the go and only have access to our mobile phone or tablet – thanks to iPrint, printing is no longer a problem," says Ewelina Liszak, Member of the Board of the Lewiatan Confederation.

EPSON ITS devices with continuous ink supply systems have worked so well for the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan that they are now being recommended by Members of the Board as office equipment for young entrepreneurs who are just starting out in business, as well as for companies belonging to the Confederation.
