How to get your Halloween party off to a bang

Kids love dressing up and playing imaginative games, so it’s not surprising that Halloween has become so popular. Make this festive occasion last even longer for your little ones by hosting a Halloween party. They’ll love handing out their party invites to friends, preparing the house with decorations and playing with their friends on the day. To help you plan for the occasion, we’ve brought together a few top tips to get it off to a great start.

1. Summon their friends

Kids can get asked to so many parties and activities, that it can be hard for even the most organised parents to keep up. Ensure you get a good turn out on the day by giving a party invite so that fellow parents have all the details at their fingertips. Our printable invites can be personalised with what, where and when, making sure you cover all the vital information.

2. Scary scale

Everything is scarier when it’s bigger, so supersize our printable bat template. It’s simple – just print off the basic template as large as you can to add impact to your decor. Cluster a few of them together and hang on string by punching a hole through each side of the wings.

3. Devilish delights

The first thing most people think of when it comes to Halloween is sweet treats. But if you’re trying to manage a horde of kids and keep their parents happy, why not opt for some healthier options? There are lots of fun and healthy treats that you can make; ghoulish green smoothies, chocolate dipped apples or turn clementines into Jack-o’-lanterns with a marker pen.

4. Ghastly garlands

Our printable garlands look great printed on a thicker paper and can be given a luxury feel by stringing with ribbon. Keep the Halloween theme running throughout by picking a ribbon in orange, purple, green or black.

5. Petrifyingly-good party bag

Send the kids home with a big smile on their faces with a fun and personalised party bag. Our tags are easy to print off and will liven up even the simplest party bag. Why not add some printable activities for them to continue the fun at home? They could make our 3D haunted house, our hair-raising puppets or our customisable monsters.
