Top Printing Tips

To help you get the best quality prints from your Epson printer, here are some useful tips from our experts:

Make sure you select the correct driver settings. For instance, choose the 'best photo' option for the highest quality photo output.

Choose the correct paper settings - eg: select 'Premium Glossy Photo Paper' for the best photo quality on glossy paper.

Choose the 'Borderless' photo setting to get true edge-to-edge printing and remove any white borders from around your photograph.

Ensure paper is correctly inserted in the printer and is well fanned to avoid the sheets sticking together.

Try not to jam the paper in too tightly against the paper guide or it will make the paper buckle and the ink will not be evenly applied.

Try using some of the different colour effects - for example convert your colour photograph to black and white or sepia using the 'Colour Effects' choice in the menu.*

Try selecting different layouts - you can choose 'Double' (two small pictures on one 10x15 sheet of paper) or even chose '20' pictures on one sheet of paper - ideal for sharing and creative work.*

Your media choice is one of the most important aspects in the printing process, and unless you want a very average print, it pays to buy one of Epsons Photo Papers - like Premium Glossy Photo paper for example. Epson QuickDry inks and Epson papers are specially formulated to get the best out of your printer.

Did you know that photo paper has a printable and a non printable side?  Make sure you insert the correct way to ensure you print on the Glossy side.
