Epson print heads
Inkjet printers compose a picture by firing tiny droplets of ink onto paper. But different printer manufacturers use different firing mechanisms. Broadly speaking, firing is achieved by one of two systems: a bubble system or a Micro Piezo™ system. A bubble system uses the pressure produced by bursting bubbles of heated ink to fire the droplets of ink. In Epson's exclusive Micro Piezo™ system, electricity passies through the piezo elements and causes physical distortions, which helps to fire the ink. This unique Micro Piezo™ system has also been designed to last the lifetime of your printer and it allows you to make the most of Epson's Variable Droplet amid Micro Droplet technology |
