AcuPhoto halftoning technology combines precise colour look-up tables with high-definition half toning algorithms to deliver accurate colours in print that look better than traditional photographs. AcuPhoto halftoning works by converting RGB colour input data into CMYK data and then transferring this into droplet information. The CMYK droplet information is sent to the Epson print head where it is turned into actual ink droplets that are fired onto the page producing exceptional prints. With AcuPhoto halftoning, colours are sharper and details are crisp, while the image printed without AcuPhoto halftoning is dull and fuzzy.
