Ink cartridges

The Intellidge chip in Epson ink cartridges tracks and stores information on the status of the cartridge. So you don’t need to worry about running out of ink, because the chip communicates with your printer and PC to warn you when you are running low on your ink.

Individual ink cartridges offer great cost savings over multi tanks. For example, when an Epson magenta individual ink tank runs out, you need only replace that particular ink cartridge. However, if the Magenta cartridge runs out on a multi-tank then you end up throwing away the entire cartridge, even if you still have remaining Cyan or Yellow ink..
