Despite the rapid and widespread adoption of colour printing, there are still some applications that demand fast, affordable mono laser printers. To meet the demands of these customers Epson has launched the EPL-6100L.

Ideal for PC or Mac user, the EPL-6100L offers high-speed black and white laser printing at speeds up to 16 pages per minute. Epson’s advanced print technologies produce crisp text and pin-sharp images for professional business documents.

Neil Hartigan, sales and marketing manager for business products at Epson says, “Epson’s printer strategy is all about providing choice.

“Our extensive range of dot-matrix printers for specific applications, colour inkjet and laser printers and mono lasers means that everyone’s printing needs are provided for.

“Colour is increasingly being used by businesses in their printed documents, but there is still a demand for low-cost black-and-white printers by small businesses and customers with home offices.”

The EPL-6100L features an advanced Epson controller with the choice of easy connection via a fast USB or parallel interface. Paper-handling features include a standard 150-sheet tray capable of printing on plain or recycled paper up to A4, and on a variety of other stock such as envelopes and card.

An easy-to-use advanced Epson Printer Driver ensures that the printer can be used with the minimum of fuss, while Epson Status Monitor 3 software provides important status information, such as the amount of paper and toner available, directly to the user’s workstation.
