Christmas has arrived early for home cinema enthusiasts seeking the ultimate viewing experience, as Epson introduces two new projectors perfectly designed for today's demanding consumers.
The Epson EMP-TW10 is a brand new concept bringing high-quality, bright, widescreen cinema performance into the home for less than £1,000. The Epson EMP-TW200 offers even better performance and greater flexibility for the true home cinema enthusiast. Watch this space for a further model which will be launched in December.
The EMP-TW10 has been specifically designed to look and perform at a high level in home cinema applications with a 1000 ANSI lumens display, native W-VGA giving a true 16:9 aspect ratio; and four colour modes are provided to enable performance to be instantly tuned to the environment.
Two living room modes provide high brightness for operating in normal room conditions and are ideal for gaming applications, whilst in the two theatre modes, the built-in motorised cinema filter is used to give an impressive 700:1 contrast ratio, perfect for viewing films in subdued lighting to give that authentic cinema feeling.
Replacing the highly-rated EMP-TW100 as the second in Epson's new series of home cinema projectors, the EMP-TW200 brings high resolution (W-XGA) widescreen performance within reach of film enthusiasts.
The EMP-TW200 offers all the fundamentals expected within a home cinema product, including 1300 ANSI lumens, 800:1 contrast ratio and virtually silent, 28dB operation, while adding a range of additional features designed to cater for the more demanding user. Five different colour modes enable the image to be tuned for the precise source and environment being used. Dynamic and living room modes offer highest brightness for gaming applications, while theatre, natural and s-RGB deploy the built-in cinema filter for an impressive 800:1 contrast ratio.
