The new Epson AcuLaser C4100 laser printer from Epson is the ideal laser printer for demanding business applications that require fast throughput, compatibility, simple operation and low running costs in both mono and colour.

The high speed 24ppm print engine, which delivers the first page in less than 13 seconds, allows colour printing at speeds normally associated with monochrome only. The high-performance 400MHz PowerPC controller, coupled with memory expandable to 1024MB, ensures that even the most demanding print jobs can be handled quickly and efficiently.

Replacing a current monochrome workgroup laser printer with the new AcuLaser C4100 could cost less to run when printing in black and white, and be more reliable. There is now no reason to have a separate monochrome laser printer.

The AcuLaser C4100 has also been designed to be as easy to integrate, use and support as a monochrome laser, which keeps support costs down and contributes to a low cost of ownership. The specification of the Aculaser C4100 is already optimised for networked workgroups with a host of features as standard on every model. They include twin paper cassettes offering up to 600 sheets of paper capacity; 10/100Base network connectivity; a full LCD panel and automatic duplex unit for double-sided printing.

The AcuLaser C4100 range consists of three models. The AcuLaser C4100 comes with 64MB, 100-sheet MP tray, 500-sheet cassette, duplex (two sided printing), and 10/100BaseTX networking. The AcuLaser C4100PS adds Adobe® Postscript® 3™, and 192MB, while the AcuLaser C4100T includes twin 500 sheet trays and 192MB.
