Epson and the IAAF World Cross Country Championships

The 36th IAAF World Cross Country Championships will take place this coming weekend (28th – 30th March) in Edinburgh.

The world’s best distance runners will assemble in Holyrood Park, in the Scottish capital on Sunday afternoon to do battle in four races – senior men and women, and junior men and women – part of the course for which tackles the steep incline and decent of Haggis Knowe whose slopes dominate this year’s World Cross Country venue.

As the Official Information System Partner for the IAAF since 1997, Epson provides essential services for the collection, processing and distribution of important event information, such as schedules and competition results, to the event operators and the media, all in real time. Epson will once again be the technical partner at this event that will bring together participants from 70 countries. The event will be televised across the world.
