Looking to get creative, print digital scrapbooks, photo books and enlargements?
Visit Epson® at the HobbyCrafts show at Birmingham NEC, 13-16th March 2008
18th February 2008 – On stand C17 in Hall 11 Epson will demonstrate its latest printers and scanners that meet the needs of scrapbooking and hobby craft enthusiasts.
See the new Hi-Definition Epson Stylus Photo R1900 in action, which incorporates the latest developments from Epson giving superior quality, borderless photos up to A3+ on a wide range of paper types. Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2 Ink ensures a long-lasting, lightfast1, superior finish whether printing on glossy or matte paper. Print natural skin tones for family portraits, vivid oranges and reds for autumn and sunset scenes, bright magenta and yellow hues for nature and wildlife shots and realistic blue and green tones for landscapes. The eight-colour ink set creates a staggering number of colour combinations, so whether you want to print the right tone to match your interior décor or to create a photo journal, the Stylus Photo R1900 will print the colour to perfectly suit the task.
Add the V500 scanner, which features a built-in transparency unit for positive or negative film and a market beating 6400 dpi optical resolution and we know that even the most serious of scrapbookers will be impressed!
Also on show will be the Stylus Photo RX685 – a premium quality photo all-in-one for printing, scanning and copying photos and documents, and for printing onto CDs and DVD faces. It features Epson Claria™ Photographic Ink, six-colour dye-based ink, giving better quality photos that last longer2 than those from the photo lab. It uses individual ink cartridges from only £6.99 for cost efficient printing so you only replace the colour that has been used. It delivers premium quality prints that look great in just 23 seconds and from the 1200dpi CIS scanner it is easy to send high-quality digital images direct to memory card, email, pdf or computer file. The Epson Scan 3.1 software offers the latest in scanning functionality including Auto Photo Orientation to analyse the image content. It detects the position of the image and automatically rotates itself. This means that photos don’t have to be carefully laid out on the scanner. Epson Easy Photo Fix™ brings life back to old or faded images with its colour restoration, backlight correction and improved digital dust correction.
See Epson’s latest PictureMate model – the PictureMate 290, the perfect choice for home hobbyists who want to be creative with their favourite images, using a small, easy to use photo printer without the need for a computer. You can create personalised photocards and scrapbook content by printing direct from digital camera memory cards, USB DIRECT PRINT and PictBridge.
