Epson® launches new 4,000 ANSI lumens, network compatible desktop projectorThe Epson EMP-7900NL is a powerful XGA projector, designed for conference room usage where networking is fast becoming an essential requirement. This projector is targeted at professionals requiring a desktop projector with high brightness (4,000 ANSI lumens) and convenient features, such as networking and security.. The Epson EMP-7900NL LCD projector provides high-quality images, flexibility and ease-of-use for the business environment. It produces 4,000 ANSI lumens, has a true XGA native resolution (1024 x 768) and contrast ratio of 700:1 for rich video projection. The Epson EMP-7900NL is equipped with Epson’s EasyMP function so that it offers network control. The network user can check and control several aspects of the projector, for example switching sources or turning all projectors off at the end of each day. IP addressability makes communication and networkability simple, whilst servicing and maintainance planning are made more efficient through the facility to email alerts to a network supervisor. These will notify the supervisor of service requirements such as expiry of lamp life or fan alerts. For improved running costs, an eco mode has been included and delivers 3,000 hours lamp life. It is quiet too, with an operation noise of 33dB. For enhanced customer choice, lenses for the EMP-7900NL are ordered separately to meet customers specific needs. There are three options available - short throw, mid throw and long throw. The Epson EMP-7900NL is easy to set up in a variety of environments. The Epson QuickCorner function provides advanced horizontal and vertical keystone correction, creating a square image quickly and easily. Where a projector screen is not available, image quality is enhanced by the Epson Wall Shot function. When an image is projected onto a wall, the projector will detect the quality of the image that is on display. If the wall is not white, this can affect the quality of the image. The EMP-7900NL will adjust the image quality accordingly to provide a clearer image that reflects the image-quality you would expect to receive if projected onto a white background. The Epson EMP-7900NL can also be used as a portable device and therefore includes important security features like a password function to protect the projector from theft and prevent unauthorised operation or access. The EMP-7900NL includes a back-lit remote control with a joystick for ease of use. Its user friendly design provides easy access to all major functions at the touch of a button. Epson launch free personalised print sample servicePhotographers can see the quality of the Epson Stylus Pro 4000 by sending a digital image of their choice to the Epson Print Centre October 2004 - Photographers can now see their own digital image produced on an A2, Epson Stylus Pro 4000, for free. Due to the interest in the Stylus Pro 4000 and the number of enquiries from photographers wishing to receive print samples, Epson has gone the extra mile and set up a free print sample service for photographers. Simply send a digital image from your personal collection to Epson and you will receive a print from the Stylus Pro 4000. Stock images will not be used, instead Epson will use your own photo. Epson are also offering a choice of media options, from glossy to matte and fine art finishes.
