Epson LQ-580 offers business users a robust, flexible and reliable printer packed with features
HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UK, 1st May 2000: Epson UK today announces the latest addition to its market-leading and award-winning range of dot matrix impact printers - the Epson LQ-580 - a narrow-carriage printer that uses a 24-pin printhead to provide letter-quality output.
The Epson LQ-580 features advanced paper-handling capabilities with the ability to handle a wide range of paper types, including continuous paper, up to five-sheet multipart stationery, labels, envelopes and postcards. A tear-off feature ensures that no paper is wasted, and it adds the ability to change paper paths without removing continuous paper from the push-tractor mechanism. Print speeds are up to 400 characters per second in draft mode, and 100cps in letter-quality mode.

Today sees the launch of the new Epson PhotoPC 650, a state of the art digital camera which is ideal for home, school or work use for just £191.00 ex VAT.

Well fear not, Epson today announce the launch of the Stylus Photo 2000P which, with the development of Epson's new pigment inks, produces output that can be displayed in excess of 100 years* in normal indoor lighting environments.
Since the introduction of the original photo-quality inkjet printer in 1997, Epson has made every effort to constantly improve its print technology. Now, for the first time users can produce photo-quality images on an Epson inkjet printer that will last longer than traditional photographic prints.

The Stylus Photo 2000P unites Epson's new ink technology with their PerfectPicture Imaging System, which dramatically improves the life and quality of the prints.
