EPSON® appoints Steljes Trade for AV distribution

Epson, the UK leader in the projector market1 today announced the appointment of Steljes Trade, part of the Steljes Group, as a distributor of its full range of AV products.

The appointment, which comes into effect on 1st March 2007 , will provide Steljes Trade and its reseller partners with access to the UK 's leading range of projectors. Epson is renowned for developing premium-quality 3LCD projectors with market leading imaging technologies. Epson has developed a range of secure projectors specifically for the education market. These are not only password protected but can only be operated via the remote control. Other models within the range offer USB connectivity, which is a world first, multi-screen display for projecting up to four screens simultaneously and secure wireless functionality for sending movies and data.

EPSON®on Stand C10 at Focus On Imaging 2007

Epson, a global leader in imaging products including printers, 3LCD projectors and small and medium-sized LCDs, is exhibiting a broad range of both consumer and professional products on Stand C10 at Focus On Imaging. (National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, 25th – 28th February 2007).

Consumer products on show range from the iF Design Award winning PictureMate 240, through general purpose and space-saving all-in-one printers to 6 colour photo printers including the recently launched Stylus Photo 1400.

The Stylus Photo 1400 is a new A3+ six-colour photo printer, featuring Claria Photographic Ink for long lasting, borderless premium quality photo prints. It is the successor to the renowned Epson Stylus Photo 1290s and offers more durable photos, superior image quality and faster printing speeds. It also features six individual ink cartridges, so only the colour that is used needs to be replaced. Direct printing onto CD and DVD faces is included for personalised archiving and easy identification of CD content. Connectivity support includes Pictbridge, USB 2.0 and an optional Wireless Ethernet Print server.

A range of scanners will also be on display including the EISA award winning Epson Perfection V700 Photo and V750 Pro. The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), Europe's biggest multimedia press organisation, singled out the Epson Perfection V700 Photo/V750Pro professional scanner series as best “European Scanner 2006-2007”. The Perfection V750 Pro is ideal for the professional photographer while the Epson Perfection V700 Photo is suitable for the photo enthusiast or advanced amateur photographer.

The latest additions to Epson’s award-winning multimedia storage viewer range, the P-3000 and P-5000 will be included on the stand. Featuring a large 4.0” Epson Photo Fine Ultra LCD viewer with the world’s first four-colour filter system, they provide an increased colour gamut and unrivalled image quality. The P-5000 comes with an 80GB hard drive and long battery life, (up to 3 hours of continuous slide show viewing) making it a reliable storage device for photographers. The P-3000 offers a 40GB memory. JPEG, RAW support for major camera
manufacturers and improved user-friendly media management software are also included in a sleek, sturdy and portable design. The P-5000 has recently received an iF Design Award.

Professional visitors to the exhibition will be able to view a range of Epson’s renowned large format printers including the Stylus Pro 3800, which was launched at Photokina in September 2006. The Epson Stylus Pro 3800 is the most compact A2+ printer on the market, making it ideal for those with limited studio space. It is an advanced inkjet system featuring UltraChrome K3 ink technology for premium quality output, comes with high-capacity ink cartridges for overnight print runs and offers a range of print sizes from A6 to A2+. Designed for ease of use, the Stylus Pro 3800 is ideally suited for fast and flexible printing in the photography, fine art, proofing and graphics markets.

Epson has today announced the introduction of a unique, hassle-free leasing solution for small to medium businesses and Public Sector organisations. The award winning AcuLaser CX11NF, which offers four reliable functions in one space saving device; printer, copier, scanner and fax can be leased for only £39.99 per month*. This cost effective option offers a simple one-stop 3 year lease agreement and enough toner to print up to 23,000 pages**.

The AcuLaser CX11NF has a ‘first page out' print time of nine seconds, fast mono and colour copying results, high resolution 9600dpi scanning and G3 compatible faxing.

This offer costs less than the comparable outright purchase RRP and includes an enhanced warranty policy of a 4 hour on-site response and 8 hour repair or replace**. A replacement photoconductor unit is also included for complete peace of mind.
