EXPLANATION:

This password is the login password you configured for your machine during the installation of Mac OS X. You simply need to enter this password and the installation will continue. This is a security feature of Mac OS X to ensure that only authorised users can install software.

Note:
If you haven't set a password on your computer, we would recommend leaving the field blank and pressing OK. This can be successful if your computer doesn't have a password set.
