Windows 8: If you receive the error message "The EPSON printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed" when you start EPSON Print CD in Windows 8, then this indicates that the printer driver is not installed. Install the printer driver from your product's Software CD or from the Epson website. Epson EasyPrintModule is built-in to the Epson printer driver software for Windows 8, so is therefore not available as a separate download.
Windows 7, Vista, 2000 & XP: If you receive the error message "The EPSON printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed" when you start EPSON Print CD in Windows 7, Vista, 2000 or XP, then this indicates that the printer driver or EPSON EasyPrintModule is not installed on your system. Follow the instructions below:
EPSON EasyPrintModule collects data from any EPSON printer driver installed on your system. This data is needed by applications like EPSON Creativity Suite or EPSON Print CD to show the correct printing options for your printer(s).
If EPSON EasyPrintModule is not installed then this data cannot be collected. As a result, the application cannot find the printer driver and reports that it is not installed on the system.
To resolve the issue, ensure that the following software is installed:
- The EPSON printer driver.
- The latest version of EPSON EasyPrintModule.
After installing EPSON EasyPrintModule, restart your computer before printing again.
- You can download EPSON EasyPrintModule from the Drivers & Software section of the Epson website. See the Related Articles section for help with downloading and installing printer software.
- If you have an older printer such as the R200, R220, R300, R320 or R800, "EasyPrintModule" may not be listed in your product's software section. To download this software, download it from under a more recent product such as the PX710W. Alternatively, a link to version 3.1b (01 September 2009) is provided here.
If you have an older printer, supported with an inbox driver in Windows 7 or Vista, we recommend ensuring you have installed the driver provided with Windows (inbox driver) and not a driver intended for use with Windows 2000/XP from the original software CD-ROM or Epson website.
