Epson Micro Piezo™ TFP
Designed with twice the density of nozzles (360 rather than 180) for each colour and 366 nozzles per colour, Epson's Micro Piezo TFP print head offers ultra fast print. Firing around 40,000 ink droplets per second, it delivers very accurate print with no satellite.

Epson Ultrachrome™ K3 Vivid Magenta ink
Epson Ultrachrome™ K3 Vivid Magenta ink covers a very large colour gamut. Even complex colours such as a rhodamine reds and reflex blues are no problem for this printing system. The light inks in the system in combination with Epson's new Super halftone processing technology allow for very smooth gradations and even the printing of aquarelles and pastels or crayons. The three black inks prevent tone jumps, producing very smooth gradations. The special matte black and the composition of the coloured inks allow these colours even on matte media. The ink also offers incredible short term stability of Delta E<1 approx 30 mins.

Epson Ultrachrome™ K3 inks provide high quality in both black & white and colour printing. Auto Ink Droplet Technology
Epson's Auto Ink Droplet Technology offers improved reliability and avoids misprinting from unexpected nozzle clogging. It automatically detects nozzle clogging and rectifies them thus maintaining productivity levels during unattended printing.

Flexible paper handling

The Stylus Pro 7450, 7880, 9450, 9880 and 11880 feature precise paper feeding mechanism to assure high quality output on all media types and sizes. There is also an auto take-up reel for the Stylus Pro 9880, 9450 and 11880 which prints directly onto media up to 1.5mm and spools output with the printed side facing either out or in.
