This canvas is a 2:1 polycotton weave with a satin finish making it suitable for Fine Art printing, while providing high image quality combined with longevity.
This 375 gsm and 475 µm canvas uses the same polycotton 2:1 weave base as Epson's aqueous Matte Canvas. It is coated with a polymeric coating that allow the UltraChrome GS Ink to fix onto it, giving the best image quality with satin finish and scuff resistance - which is clearly an advantage of solvent inks over waterbased; they allow the use of coatins that protect mechanically the print after drying.
The canvas can easily be stretched onto frames for use at galleries and exhibitions. It comes in 18.3 metres long rolls for increased efficiency at 44" and 64" width.
