Epson Poland sponsor National Geographic project
From the Eiffel Tower in Paris to Sequoia National Park in California; from the Sydney Opera House in Australia to the Lake District in the north of England. Every part of our world is filled with amazing buildings and natural wonders that need to be assured of continual protection. After all, these are the landmarks that give us all a sense of culture, heritage and history.
In order to aid this process of conservation, Epson is working with National Geographic to protect and capture images of many of the most beautiful places on Earth.
So what are the main challenges?
Preserving cultural heritage in the face of global warming, excessive deforestation and overwhelming pollution. In a poll taken by National Geographic, readers chose the 30 spots on Earth that they found the most beautiful. However, the sheer volume of responses to the poll highlighted the number and variety of sights that can capture our imagination; all of which we hope to pass down intact to our children - and to theirs - as an environmental legacy we can be proud of.
Epson Poland was delighted to be the partner of this National Geographic poll and supported an exhibition of the 30 most popular images to help raise awareness of the issues. All of the images were printed on Epson Stylus Pro 7880 large format printer to ensure the highest possible quality.
