Epson Kunstbetrieb: production, presentation, encounter

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting and displaying art work, Epson Kunstbetrieb was opened in Dusseldorf in February 2008 as both an exhibition space and forum where those within the artistic community can meet, discuss and develop their work.

Epson Kunstbetrieb is a primary project of Epson Deutschland GmbH and is a vital way in which we work to promote art. The interaction of image printing technology and art plays a central role at the Epson Kunstbetrieb - an exhibition space which was opened in early February 2008 at the Medienhafen in Dusseldorf (www.epson-kunstbetrieb.de).

In addition to being a gallery for top-notch exhibitions of photography and video art, the "premises for the creative arts" is also a forum for artists and photographers to meet and discuss their work, a workshop centre, an event location and a production studio for Digigraphie - the process developed by Epson for the reproduction of artworks.

Digigraphie allows artists to produce high-quality reproductions of their artworks that can be be preserved for up to a 100 years, in a limited authorised edition; stamped, numbered and signed by the artist. This is a technology that saves originals which would otherwise be threatened with extinction.

Epson Kunstbetrieb is not only a showcase for artists and photographers, but a superb example of our continual dedication and sponsorship of the arts.
