Print in colour at laser-like speeds with the Epson Stylus Office BX610FW 4-in-1 printer
18 August 2009 – Epson today announces the launch of the Epson Stylus Office BX610FW, a multi-functional, network-ready printer that delivers high-quality colour prints at extremely fast speeds.
An ideal choice for the small office, the latest addition to the Epson Stylus Office range combines print, scan, copy and fax functionality with built-in wireless connectivity and Ethernet networking. The BX610FW makes it easy to connect and share over the network, maximising performance without compromising on space, cost or time.
The BX610FW delivers impressive print speeds of up to 38 pages per minute (ppm) in both black and colour, and a highly competitive business quality speed of 15 ppm in black and 9.3 ppm for colour (ISO/IEC 24734)[1].
Feature-rich and easy to use, the BX610FW is an office solution that has been designed to maximise productivity and save time and resources with virtually no maintenance. The 6.3cm colour LCD viewer allows for easy navigation around the product features, whilst the networking capability enables scanned items to be delivered straight to a network location and faxes to be sent directly from a PC.
The integrated 2400dpi scanner enables high-quality document scanning and copying. The bundled software, Presto! PageManager 8 makes document scanning, management and conversion to editable text easy.
Using Epson’s Micro Piezo™ print head technology and DURABrite Ultra Ink, the BX610FW produces laser-like text and brilliant colour prints that are resistant to water and even smudging when using a highlighter pen. The high capacity individual ink cartridges deliver a cost per page that’s comparable to a laser printer[2] whilst the XL black cartridge prints over four times more pages[3], meaning less frequent cartridge changes and more cost-effective business prints. These individual ink cartridges are easily identified by the ‘Rhino’ image[4] and are also available in a convenient, cost-saving multipack.
Richard Aplin, Product Manager at Epson UK, comments: “The Epson Stylus Office BX610FW offers premium quality prints at high speeds and low cost, making it the ideal choice for any busy small business that demands maximum speed and optimum performance, without added expense and complexity. The stylish look, small footprint and added features of scanner, copier and fax combined with Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking capabilities further enhance its appeal to micro business audiences.”
As an ENERGY STAR® qualified printer, the Epson Stylus Office BX610FW reflects Epson’s ongoing focus on reducing the carbon emissions attributed to the use of its products.
